My Qualifications

Hi, I'm John Fordyce the owner and operator of Safe-Buy Home Inspection. This page is a little more about me, my qualifications and my Home Inspection company.
I began my inspection career as a civil and construction inspector about 10 years ago. I've always been a good inspector and had a nautral eye for finding faults and deficiencies in construction. My original backround in civil inspections led me to create Safe-Buy Home Inspection in 2006. Since then I've been continuing my Home Inspection education and learning the new trends in construction, while perfecting my Home Inspection reporting process. I am nationaly certifed by two Home Inspection associations including the American Society of Home Inspectors A.S.H.I. and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors N.A.C.H.I.. I am insured and I completely comply with all Pennsylvania laws and Home Inspector requirements.

Pennsylvania Certified Pest Inspector #406470 (Dept. of Agriculture).
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Certified Radon Tester - #2550.
I am an affiliate member of the Indiana, Pennyslvania - Board of Realtors.
Attended Penn Foster and completed the Professional Home Inspector training course.
I've passed NACHI's on-line inspector examination and completed NACHI's Code of Ethics obstacle course and abide by it.
I passed and adhere to NACHI's Standards of Practice test and follow them.
I fulfill over 40 hours of continuing education every year for multiple regulators and home inspection associations.
